Parason High Consistency Baskets are purpose-built for screening operations where conventional baskets fall short. In high consistency (HC) screening — typically at 3–6% stock consistency — screen baskets face extreme mechanical and thermal demands: intense rotor pulsation, elevated operating temperatures, and significant pressure differentials across the basket wall.
To meet these challenges, Parason has developed a completely welding-free basket construction. By eliminating weld joints — the most common point of failure in conventional baskets — HC baskets achieve superior structural integrity, uniform slot geometry, and significantly longer fatigue life. The result is a basket that delivers higher cleaning efficiency, greater throughput, and extended service life in the toughest screening environments.
These baskets are fully compatible with UPS series and MF series pressure screens, making them a direct drop-in upgrade for mills looking to improve screening performance at high consistency stages.

Why Welding-Free Construction?
In conventional screen baskets, welded joints are the weakest link — susceptible to fatigue cracking, corrosion, and stress concentration under the extreme conditions of HC screening. Parason's welding-free construction eliminates these failure points entirely.
