Working Principle

In pulp mills, fibres in the spent liquor cause scaling in evaporators and concentrators. Recovering these fibres improves the evaporating efficiency and greatly reduces boil-out and cleaning time. The Black Liquor Filter effectively separates fibres from the spent liquor. All recovered fibre is returned to the pulping line for additional gain.
