PLUG SCREW FEEDER

Working Principle

‍

Plug screw compress the raw material to further increase the consistency and remove the water, sand, fines along with water. The material forms the plug-in plug pipe and mix with caustic & steam in inlet chamber to feed in digester tubes for cooking. The plug screw feeder compresses the raw material and forms a pressure tight plug at the same time as it feeds the raw material into the pressurized tubes.
